Directorate General of Immigration (DGI) and Tomohon Municipal Government Synergizes Immigration Service at Tomohon Public Service Mall

Jakarta (5/4) -  Director General of Immigration, Ronny F. Sompie and Tomohon Mayor Jimmy Feidie Eman signed a Cooperation Agreement on Immigration Services at Tomohon Public Service Mall (MPP) at the DGI building on Thursday (5/4).

The event was attended by Head of Regional Office of Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of North Sulawesi, Pondang Tambunan, Head of Manado Immigration Office, representative of Tomohon City Government and several DGI’s high-ranking officials.

In his speech, the Director General of Immigration conveyed, Tomohon Public Service Mall is a joint effort of central government and local government in realizing the principle of good public service in Tomohon City.

The presence of concentrated public services in one place will increase efficiency and bring people's satisfaction.

Immigration services presented at MPP Tomohon are passport and residence services. Applicants who previously had to take care of at the Manado Immigration Office, may apply for immigration services in a more affordable place.

From the immigration side, MPP Tomohon helps create positive perceptions and public opinion, as well as good image for Immigration and Ministry of Law and Human Rights. While from the Government of Tomohon City, the presence of MPP can attract tourists, Labor and Foreign Investors to come that correlates directly to the economic movement of Tomohon City and surrounding areas.
