Eazy Intal: a Special Service for UM Foreign Students from Malang Immigration Office

MALANG – Foreign students in the Malang area and its surroundings can now access the outreach stay permit service through the Eazy Intal program launched by the Malang Immigration Office on Thursday (07/09/2023) at the State University of Malang (UM), East Java. The launch was also attended by the Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim. Eazy Intal is an outreach stay permit service by immigration officers to the applicant's location. In this case, officers from the Malang Immigration Office come to the State University of Malang to provide stay permit services for its foreign students. "For now, the Eazy Intal service can only be submitted by universities that already have an International Office, such as at UNM," explained the Head of Class I Checkpoint Immigration Office of Malang, Galih Priya Kartika Perdhana. To access the Eazy Intal service, the International Office from the University can submit it through Forecast Karmila (Integrated Foreigner Chat Services of the Malang Immigration Office) at 081252793234. Then the immigration officer will come to carry out the biometric data collection process. "Applicants and sponsors do not need to visit the Immigration Office," added Galih. This Eazy Intal service breakthrough was welcomed by the Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim. This innovation is a manifestation of the enthusiasm of the Malang Immigration to improve the quality of public services, especially for immigration stay permits. "I appreciate this innovation because it makes stay permit services fast, easy and affordable, which are indicators of quality public services," said Silmy. Silmy further added that Eazy Intal can be a solution for campuses with foreign students and international office for ease of immigration stay permits administration. "This is a form of our commitment to achieve quality public services," Silmy ended.
