Self-Reflection and Innovation of Kemenkumham on its Anniversary

Jakarta - The Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) commemorates its 78th anniversary. The Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham), Yasonna H. Laoly, said this is the time for self-improvements. "At this commemoration moment, you have shown real progress. However, I need to remind you that we should not be complacent and stop here," said Yasonna during the Commemoration Ceremony of the 78th Kemenkumham Day in 2023. Not only about self-reflection, Yasonna also highlighted the importance of working in new, creative and innovative ways. At the age of 78, it is only right that Kemenkumham is of better quality in providing public services. "Maintain the accomplishments we have successfully achieved, continue to think of new ways with various creative breakthroughs and new innovations to provide convenience in working and providing public services to the community, including the sustainability of programs I have set," said Yasonna, Monday (21/08/2023). Since 2022, the anniversary of the Kemenkumham has been commemorated every August 19. On this opportunity, Yasonna also hopes that there will be no more abuse of duties and authority, no more employee behavior that violates the code of ethics discipline, and violates the law. "Build a positive image and decorate this ministry with various positive achievements and accomplishments," said the minister. Basically, he went on, God Almighty and the community are watching us, no matter how small our movements are, they continue to be monitored,. "Restoring public trust is not easy, so please maintain and continue to build it by showing our best, ethical, and professional performance with integrity," said the father of four. At the end of his speech, Yasonna advised everyone to remain conscientious, performing supervision and control in each of their team, and continue to remind each other to always obey and comply with laws and regulations. "If we are able to gain public trust, in the end, we will obtain optimal support from the community and all stakeholders," he concluded. Kemenkumham Day or more popularly known as Dharma Karya Dhika Day this year carries the theme "The Ministry of Law and Human Rights Quality Services for a Better Indonesia". This theme can be interpreted as an effort to reflect the spirit of all Pengayoman Personnel all over Indonesia in providing the best services from time to time, which is expected to also be of highest quality.
