The DGI will announce the opening of passport service quotas at exhibitions through its official social media accounts, especially Instagram and Twitter @ditjen_imigrasi. "Alhamdulillah, passport services at exhibitions like this are in great demand by the public, the quota is quickly fulfilled. This is because travel fair events like this are held on weekends, usually Friday-Sunday, so it helps people who only available on weekends," he said. Upon visiting the DGI stand, immigration officers will ask the applicant to scan the QR Code on their M-Passport application, then provide an interview queue number. The officer at the front desk will also help check the required documents. Applicants applying passport for the first time are required to bring their E-ID, Family Card, birth certificate, diploma/marriage certificate/baptismal certificate along with their copies. For applicants renewing their passports (already have a previous passport) can simply bring their old passport and E-ID along with the copies.
