As a Former Member of the Police, now the Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights is Inaugurated as a Civil Servant

Jakarta - The Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham), Commissioner General Pol. (P) Andap Budhi Revianto, now officially holds the status as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN). Previously, Andap was an active member of the Indonesian Police (Polri) who carried out duties outside the Polri structure, namely as the 13th Secretary General of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Andap's inauguration as ASN was led by the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna H. Laoly, on Monday, (04/09/2023) at the Graha Pengayoman Building. "I have just inaugurated and sworn in Andap Budhi Revianto as an ASN in a permanent position, namely Secretary General at Kemenkumham," said Yasonna. Andap has led Kemenkumham as Secretary General for 2 years and 6 months since March 1, 2021. Yasonna hopes that Andap will remain focused on completing the ministry’s performance targets. "I hope he can stay focused on implementing and completing the performance targets quickly, especially those that are of concern and priority," he added. In addition to being inaugurated as a ASN, Andap has also been appointed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia as Acting Governor of Southeast Sulawesi until the election of a definitive Governor in the upcoming General Election. With this appointment as Acting Governor, Andap carries out two mandates in providing services to the community. Yasonna reminded Andap and all ASN officials to remain politically neutral, especially during the current General Election and Regional Election period. Thus, the services of the Kemenkumham and the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government to the community will continue to run conducively. "Both in the Kemenkumham environment and in Southeast Sulawesi, Mr. Andap must be able to guarantee the neutrality of the bureaucracy and political dynamics in the region so that it remains conducive and the governance implementation is not disrupted," Yasonna requested. Meanwhile, Andap expressed his gratitude for the trust given to him. For him, this trust is a mandate and an opportunity to provide better services to the community. "The inauguration as ASN and the appointment as Acting Governor is a mandate from Allah SWT, the Almighty God, and the trust from the President and the Minister of Law and Human Rights. God willing, I will carry it out with full responsibility," said Andap after the inauguration ceremony.
